10. Decide what type of program you are going to use! Personally I think Photoshop elements is the way to go if you can't afford Photoshop. Is ANYONE in your house a student? Check out the software HERE at huge discounts! There are other programs you can use of course but...I'm not really too familiar with them as I prefer Adobe products.
9. Get this E-Book from Scrap-Girls.
8. Check out this very easy, very good tutorial @ Atomic Cupcake.
7. Check out the help section and tutorials on scrapbook-elements.com.
6. Learn the rules about file sharing and what PIRACY is if you download freebies or buy digital scrapbook supplies.
5. If you start checking out daily FREE SITES, make sure you leave some "love" aka "comments" for the designers who share free items with you. It's a heck of a lot of work to provide those freebies. (Also you should be aware that designers who provide you with "direct links" to the downloads (instead of going to a 3rd party download site) are paying for that service for you! So support their stores when you can!)
4. Check out this magazine! Order it on their site for a huge discount.
3. Check out this gallery for ideas or to share your own creations.
2. Once your on your way making digital creations share them with us on your blog, everyone loves to see them! Also, make sure you credit the designer and websites where you got the products. Such as {{Paper-XYZKit-DeeDee Designer-www.designerstore.com}} at the end of your post. Not only does this give credit to the designer which is fabulous, you also won't get 53 comments saying "HEY where did you get that cute "____" Everyone wins!
1. RELAX! You can't learn it overnight, and it's supposed to be fun! The great thing about digi-scrapping is you CAN'T mess up, because you can always start over, move things around, change colors, etc...etc...etc... Although, Maybe the number 1 thing should be...
Please note that this is intended just for fun and FYI since there are a lot of new digi-scrappers visiting my blog! I don't even close to know, or pretend to know all there is about digi-scrapping. I just wanted to give you a start...because I know how overwhelmed I was when I started! Feel free to email me or leave a comment if you have any questions!
**edit** guess I should be a better example eh? :) {{All digiscrapping supplies from Tangie Baxter (my own design) www.tangiebaxter.com coming soon!!!}}
